Geotechnical Engineer

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will enhance your capabilities and contribute to the reputation of our Mining Sustaining Capital team. You will work on tasks that require quality and safety standards, ensuring accurate entry, validation, and management of geotechnical data within project databases.

Key responsibilities include preparing geotechnical designs, technical reports, specifications, and engineering drawings for high-quality project deliverables. You will interpret field and laboratory data to support geotechnical model development and design recommendations.

Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Geology, Geoscience, Civil Engineering or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Geo role, preferably on mining, rail, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical data management packages, such as OpenGround, gINT, and GIS applications like GlobalMapper.
  • Ability to participate in regular field work.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills.
