Geotechnical Testing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Testing Specialist to join our team in Western Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and processing samples of concrete, aggregate, rock, and masonry for laboratory testing.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience or a strong interest in materials testing, especially in strength, durability, and compliance testing of construction materials. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct field and lab-based tests such as concrete slump and cylinder casting, aggregate grading and flakiness index, rock uniaxial compression and point load index, and masonry block compressive strength.
  • Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and routine maintenance.
  • Record, log, and communicate test results accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and NATA-compliant work environment.
  • Support other tasks as required, including sampling, sample preparation, and field density testing.
