Geotechnical Specialist

This is a key position in our Mine Advisory team, where you will enhance your capabilities and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the design and assessment of tailings storage facilities and mine waste facilities.
- Assist in geotechnical analysis, modelling, and reporting.
- Contribute to site investigations, inspections, and construction support.
- Prepare high-quality technical deliverables, including drawings, calculations, and reports.
- Collaborate with specialists in environmental and mine planning disciplines.
- Develop relationships and build your consulting skillset.
You will be involved across the project lifecycle, from concept through to detailed design, construction support, and closure planning. Working closely with senior engineers, you will gain exposure to technically diverse projects.
About You:We are looking for a proactive engineer with a solid foundation in geotechnical work and interest in sustainable mining.
- A degree in civil or geotechnical engineering (or similar)
- 3–6 years' relevant experience in tailings, geotechnical, or mine infrastructure design
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Prior consulting experience (preferred but not essential)
- Willingness to travel to site as needed
