Cultural Partnerships Manager

The role of Cultural Partnerships Manager will be instrumental in developing and advancing the cultural capability of an organisation. This position will focus on engaging with local communities, collaborating on key initiatives and driving progress towards Closing the Gap targets.

  • Build relationships with Indigenous organisations and communities to drive positive change
  • Develop policies and strategies to embed Aboriginal cultural awareness across the organisation
  • Lead projects and initiatives addressing Closing the Gap targets
  • Deliver practical progress in recruitment, retention and contractor procurement related to Closing the Gap

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive organisational progress towards achieving Closing the Gap targets
  • Develop policy and strategy to advance Aboriginal cultural awareness throughout the organisation
  • Develop and leverage relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, communities and government departments
  • Oversee projects and initiatives addressing Closing the Gap targets
  • Deliver accurate reporting on Closing the Gap targets, including Aboriginal cultural inclusion metrics
