Community Awareness Officer

We are seeking a Community Awareness and Engagement professional who excels at building relationships, inspiring others, and driving meaningful change.

Your Role
  • Develop awareness of local services and early help-seeking through engaging presentations and pop-up events, strategic partnerships with schools and local organizations, and managing social media and web content.
  • Create inclusive promotional materials using Canva, PowerPoint, or InDesign to promote mental health literacy and reduce stigma.
  • Tailor sessions for schools and communities to meet local needs, with a focus on priority groups.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in community engagement, health promotion, or events in a youth or mental health context.
  • Strong planning and coordination skills, with ability to manage competing priorities independently.
  • High-level communication skills, including public speaking and professional presentation.
  • Experience developing inclusive promotional materials using Canva, PowerPoint, or InDesign.
  • Emotional intelligence and ability to build respectful relationships with diverse stakeholders.
