Job Title:

Senior Social Work Leader

Role Overview:

This is a leadership opportunity to guide and support a team of social workers in delivering high-quality services to families and children. The successful candidate will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the social work team, promoting excellence in practice and service delivery.
  • Support the professional development of staff through mentoring and coaching, and maintain a clinical caseload to ensure continued expertise.
  • Develop and implement education programs for social workers and other health professionals, enhancing their skills and knowledge in specialist areas.
Essential Requirements:
  • Membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers with significant postgraduate experience in social work practice with families and children.
  • Extensive specialist knowledge of issues affecting families in relevant clinical areas, including therapeutic counselling and casework.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
