
Social Work Leadership Opportunity

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to mentor and develop a team of social workers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the social work team, providing supervision and guidance to team members, and supporting their professional development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing daily team operations, including supervising and mentoring staff
- Supporting the professional development of team members, including identifying training needs and developing plans to address them
- Effective management of planned and unplanned leave to minimize disruptions to patient care
- Collaborating with senior leadership within the department to achieve strategic objectives
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in social work, eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, and the ability to actively participate in after-hours/weekend on-call rosters. You will also need to be eligible to drive in NSW and willing to travel for work purposes.
Requirements- Must hold a degree in social work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
