Key to Success: Effective Team Leadership and Collaboration
This pivotal role within our organisation requires a Deputy Manager to provide exceptional leadership in managing case managers, guiding the team towards creating a flexible client-centred service culture. The successful candidate will support team members in understanding the vision, values and direction of the organisation.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Lead Case Managers in fostering a collaborative environment based on genuine engagement with consumers, carers and participants.
- Assist team members in translating organisational values into everyday practice.
- Collaborate with the Manager to drive commercially effective and sustainable outcomes.
- Provide clear, fair and focused leadership, professional supervision, debriefing, practice support and guidance to team members.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Services, Social Work, Welfare or Nursing.
- Proven experience leading a team in the Community Services Sector, particularly in Disability or Ageing.
- Detailed knowledge of consumer directed and self-directed care models.
- Leadership expertise encompassing staff matters including practice supervision and performance management.
- Ability to identify opportunities for quality improvement within programs or services.
- Collaborative approach with influence and engagement skills.
