At the heart of our success lies a crucial role: the Global Forwarding Agent.

We are seeking a talented professional to join our operations team in Sydney. As the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, you will manage the full shipment lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in meeting customer requirements.

You will work closely with customers from initiation to completion, overseeing all related tasks, maintaining daily communication, managing reporting, and handling emails.

A successful Global Forwarding Agent thrives in a fast-paced environment, finding swift resolutions to transportation and documentation problems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Operational Excellence by understanding international shipping processes, documentation, and terminology
  • Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes/create solutions in response to challenges
  • Execute and coordinate shipment tasks as per customer SOPs
  • Create, maintain, and update accurate shipment data
  • Provide quotes based on customer and network needs
  • Foster relationships with customers, agents, and external vendors
  • Support new customer implementations and participate in business meetings as needed

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/ equivalent
  • 1 - 3 years of freight forwarding operations/logistics and supply chain industry experience
