International Freight Coordinator

The position involves managing import freight forwarding activities, verifying documentation, and ensuring smooth communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate import freight forwarding activities
- Verify documentation provided by shippers, carriers, and other service providers
- Register import shipments and ensure Quarantine inspections are completed
- Distribute pre-alerts and relevant documents to clients and stakeholders in a timely manner
- Liaise with Australian authorities in regards to import clearance
- Action delivery requests and advise cartage teams to coordinate deliveries
- Invoice customers and process payments for service providers
To be successful in this role, you require experience in international freight forwarding, along with:
- Proven import operations experience in freight forwarding
- Experience in using CargoWise
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong multitasking skills
- Full-time working rights in Australia
