Freight Customs Specialist Role

At our client, a well-established International Freight and Customs provider based in Sydney, we are seeking an experienced Freight Customs Specialist. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to develop your career as a customs professional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately compile/classify and value import and export products, ensuring timely clearances and compliance with regulations.
  • Update systems databases with accurate information, maintaining data integrity and consistency.
  • Liaise professionally with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
  • Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and customs service level agreements (SLAs).
Requirements:
  • Several years of experience in customs compiling/classifying roles, with a strong understanding of local regulations and procedures.
  • Pursuing a career in customs and eager to develop skills and knowledge in this field.
