The Employment and Support Coordinator role provides one-on-one and group support to program participants from multicultural communities, utilizing a strengths-based approach to facilitate pathways to employment and training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver our Employment Pathways Program to former refugees with low English and complex barriers to employment
  • Develop and maintain individualized job or training plans for participants
  • Foster participant engagement to set and achieve goals overcoming barriers to improve their skills and job readiness
  • Establish and maintain relationships with job seekers and stakeholders
  • Work in the multicultural agency sector, particularly with people who are former refugees
