The Role

This permanent part-time role delivers our Employment Pathways Program and is based in Port Kembla. The Employment and Training Services Coordinator provides one-on-one and group support to program participants from multicultural communities using a strengths-based approach.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary education or equivalent experience
  • Operating knowledge and experience in employment and training services and relevant fields
  • Experience delivering information sessions to stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining job or training plans
  • Ability to engage participants to set and achieve goals to overcome barriers to improve their skills and job readiness
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with job seekers and stakeholders
