Overview
- We are seeking an experienced planning professional to lead our NSW Planning team in delivering high-quality projects and services.
This role will contribute to business growth by providing expert advice on strategic and statutory planning, as well as resource management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project planning and coordination, ensuring that project outputs meet or exceed agreed goals.
- Develop project plans and strategies for major projects, including identification of business resource requirements.
- Manage the preparation of strategies, reports, environmental impact assessments, and other planning documentation and submissions on behalf of clients.
- Conduct technical and quality reviews of documentation prepared by the planning team to ensure that it meets client expectations.
- Lead the preparation of tender documentation and foster client relationships.
- Grow and develop junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or Architecture/Urban Design or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Proficiency in urban planning research, data analysis, and report writing.
- Extensive experience in statutory or strategic planning, preferably within NSW.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with teams, managers, and clients.
- Commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development.
