**About the Role**:
The Claims Management Advisor is a key and active participant of the Health, Safety & Wellbeing team, providing organisation-wide support across a range of health, safety, wellbeing, early intervention and workers compensation matters.
A newly created role, the Claims Management Advisor is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of Workers Compensation claims, ensuring the timely processing of claim entitlements in adherence to relevant policies and legislation.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Liaising with line managers to accurately input the data required for the fortnightly pay authority for WorkCover pays.
- Maintenance of accurate Workers Compensation claim records to ensure that correct information is provided to payroll for calculation and processing.
- Communicating with TZV's WorkCover insurer in a timely manner as required. Educating and supporting line managers to ensure that accurate and timely information is provided.**About You**:
- Strong understanding of Workers Compensation governance, legislative requirements, and a customer-focused approach to managing claims effectively.
- Sound understanding of Workcover claims with demonstrated experience in Workers Compensation pays.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a can-do attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills. Experience working in the Emergency Services or Health industries would be advantageous.**What We Can Offer You**:
