Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations and lead the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and portion control across all menu items, maintaining food safety and hygiene at all times.
  • Support in rostering, stock control, and cost management, collaborating on menu development and seasonal updates.
  • Supervise kitchen operations during functions and events.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a senior chef or equivalent position.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in high-volume service environments.
  • Sound understanding of food safety and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work across a rotating roster, including nights and weekends.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (highly regarded).
