About the Role

Hudson Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the section.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and lead a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects and tasks.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the section, ensuring that tasks and projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
    • Manage and coordinate workflow, resource allocation, and production benchmarks.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure that all activities and projects are conducted in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects and activities.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, clients, and other stakeholders.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates and progress reports.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Contribute to the development and improvement of systems for planning, implementing, and monitoring department projects.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience
    • Previous experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in an administration, assessment, or compliance environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
    • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Security Clearance
    • Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain or have Baseline security clearance.
