About the Role:
  • You will provide essential care and support, helping clients regain autonomy and confidence through personal care services such as showering, grooming, or assistance with dressing.
  • Social support will be provided through companionship or accompanying clients to appointments or recreational activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Capacity-building activities will be designed to assist clients in developing new skills or increasing independence, fostering a sense of accomplishment and self-reliance.
  • Domestic assistance will include meal preparation, grocery shopping, or light household cleaning and support, maintaining a safe and healthy living environment.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Availability on Friday afternoons, 9:00 am-1:00 pm, as a minimum
  • A registered and insured vehicle, along with a New South Wales issued driver's license, for transporting clients and facilitating appointments
  • The ability to be proactive in supporting clients with unique needs and preferences, demonstrating empathy and understanding in daily living activities
  • A commitment to flexible work arrangements, ensuring the physical, psychological, and social support needs of clients are met

We offer flexibility within school hours for our casual position, with the goal of rostering permanent shifts. Reliability and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
