Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing timely, compliant, and accurate financial reporting.

The successful candidate will be based at our Kingsford or Adelaide offices and will support various divisions with project and management accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts for various divisions, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Conduct a full profit & loss review, including variance analysis for each profit & cost centre.
  • Develop and maintain KPI reports and calculations.
  • Lead inventory management, including stocktakes, open/closed work orders, negative stock, and stock turns.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyse raw data and manipulate it for reporting purposes.
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Develop weekly management reports.
  • Proactively identify process improvements and develop controls to enhance costing data reliability.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced excel skills and report development.
  • Knowledge of large ERP systems.
  • Able to adapt to change and continuous improvement.
  • A hands-on approach, willing to get involved with all aspects of the business.
  • Good working knowledge of Office 365 Suite.
  • High-level organisation skills and ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Well-developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Pronto ERP system (desirable).
  • At least 3 years' experience in a costing role in a manufacturing and production environment (desirable).
