Accountant - Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team at Ahrens. Based at our Kingsford or Adelaide offices, this role will support various divisions with project and management accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for multiple divisions, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Lead full profit & loss review, including variance analysis for each cost centre, to drive business decision-making.
- KPI reporting and calculations to monitor performance.
- Oversee inventory management, including stocktakes, open/closed work orders, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manipulate and analyse raw data to inform business strategies.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting to ensure financial stability.
- Develop and maintain weekly management reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Proactively identify process improvements and implement controls to enhance costing data reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced excel skills and report development experience.
- Knowledge of large ERP systems and ability to adapt to change.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for liaising with Managers and external customers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Office 365 Suite and high level of organisational skills.
