About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant, to work as a part of our finance team to provide timely, compliant, and accurate reporting. Based at our Kingsford or Adelaide offices, this role will support various divisions with project and management accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts for various divisions ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Full profit & loss review including variance analysis for each profit & cost centre.
  • KPI reporting and calculations.
  • Lead role in inventory management including stocktakes, open/closed work orders, negative stock, and stock turns.
  • Balancesheet reconciliations.
  • Manipulate and analyse raw data.
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Preparation of various weekly management reports.
  • Proactively develop process improvements.
  • Proactively develop controls or processes that will enhance the reliability of costing data.
  • Undertake all other reasonable tasks and duties within your skill and ability, as directed.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess advanced excel skills and report development, knowledge of a large ERP system, and the ability to adapt to change and continuous improvement. A hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are also essential. Formal qualifications in Accounting / Business Studies or similar are desirable, along with previous exposure to Pronto ERP system and at least 3 years' experience in a costing role in a manufacturing and production environment.
