Job Role: Optimisation Change Lead

The implementation of the support system will be overseen by the Optimisation Change Implementation Lead to ensure it meets specified capability, availability, and reliability standards. This involves managing the Integrated Logistics Support Governance and Assurance Plan, interpreting logistics policies, and communicating these to Defence stakeholders at various levels.

The Optimisation Change Implementation Lead will be responsible for systems analysis, including sparing and maintenance evaluations, as well as reviewing and approving contract ILS deliverables in accordance with the statement of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To perform detailed analyses ensuring the integration of support considerations into design processes.
  • To plan and develop logistics program activities from conceptual design through product lifecycle.
  • Evaluate design concepts to determine if they satisfy support requirements and the relative supportability of alternative concepts.
  • Solve unique and complex problems affecting sustainment lifecycle.
  • Mentor and advise project team members to achieve milestones and objectives.
  • Communicate complex ideas to influence decisions.
  • Supervise team members and oversee daily tasks/schedules, performance appraisals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in integrated logistic support or logistic engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Defence or related technical industry.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Experience in leading teams.
  • Excellent client and staff engagement, relationship, and communication skills.
  • Eligibility for ITAR clearance.
