Lead Stock Optimisation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our high-performing team. As a Lead Stock Optimisation Specialist, you will play a key role in maximising sales and optimising stock across stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective stock allocation strategies to drive business growth
  • Conduct thorough analysis of product performance and stock levels to inform strategic decisions
  • Action store builds, transfers, markdowns and promotions to achieve maximum impact
  • Collaborate with the wider team on weekly trade meetings and release plans to ensure alignment and effectiveness
  • Monitor stock flow from DC to stores to support effective trading
  • Produce key reporting on product performance, stock levels and allocations to inform decision-making
  • Provide actionable insights to support sales opportunities and mitigate stock risk
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years retail or fashion experience with a passion for data-driven analysis and commercial outcomes
  • A strong understanding of stock flow, excellent attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a love of working with data
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on customer outcomes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
  • A qualification in Fashion Merchandising or related field (ideal but not required)
  • Previous experience in store, allocations or merchandise is highly valued
