
NDIS Compliance Specialist

This role combines technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and a proactive approach to maintaining compliance standards in the NDIS sector.
Main Responsibilities:- Oversee the overall compliance function of the team by implementing strategies and policies for adherence.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, such as JASANZ and NDIS Commission as required, to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure consistency of the technical review function by overseeing the program, managing quality assurance processes and providing accurate reports.
- Support clients and auditors with compliance queries, provide expert advice and guidance on regulations.
- Manage accreditation activities including witnessing and internal auditing, maintain detailed records of all audits and assessments.
- Support auditor performance management program by monitoring progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain updated knowledge of the scheme and distribute information as required, keep stakeholders informed about any changes or updates.
- Assist in preparing for JASANZ accreditation audits by developing comprehensive audit plans and conducting thorough risk assessments.
- Review audit reporting completeness and quality by conducting technical reviews, provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Previous experience in a compliance-related role within the NDIS framework is essential.
- Working knowledge of NDIS certification, quality assurance and regulatory compliance is necessary for success in this role.
- A great communicator with a friendly personality is required, able to work effectively with colleagues, clients and external stakeholders.
- Someone who thrives on detailed work; accuracy is vitally important in this role, as are methodical approaches to problem-solving and decision-making.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and accuracy is ideal, along with fast learning skills and comfort using different pieces of technology.
