Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Specifications Manager / Business Development Manager to join our team in Western Sydney. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, conducting product presentations, and building strategic relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with potential clients and stakeholders to generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to key stakeholders, including architects, building certifiers, fire engineers, local councils, builders, and government bodies.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and use Salesforce (CRM) for project tracking and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders for long-term business opportunities.
  • Attend customer social events, sales meetings, project meetings, and trade nights to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Technical experience in specification, architectural, and building construction industries.
  • Prior sales experience generating new business and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Computer literacy in CRM (Salesforce) and MS programs.
  • Trustworthy and reliable, with excellent interpersonal and people skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
