The OpportunityAs a Community Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting a customer with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
- Providing support with hygiene and personal care
- Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
- Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
- Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
- At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
- NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
- Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle, work/life balance needs and availability
