Operational Excellence Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational consistency, supporting daily branch functions, developing and delivering training, and ensuring our branch network operates efficiently and compliantly across Australia.

This is a pivotal national position within our Logistics team, where you will champion operational excellence and provide critical support to branch teams. You will resolve escalated operational issues, offer clear guidance to staff, and support the implementation of new systems, processes, and services across branches.

As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will design, implement, and evaluate training programs for new hires and existing staff, ensuring onboarding compliance is maintained in collaboration with the relevant Learning and Development teams. You will deliver hands-on operational training on systems, procedures, and customer service, maintain up-to-date training materials, resources, and manuals, and identify skills gaps and provide coaching where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational excellence and consistency across the branch network
  • Support daily branch functions and provide critical operational support to branch teams
  • Develop and deliver training programs for new hires and existing staff
  • Implement and evaluate training programs to ensure onboarding compliance
  • Maintain up-to-date training materials, resources, and manuals
  • Identify skills gaps and provide coaching where required

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within the automotive or logistics industry
  • Strong understanding of operational policies, branch procedures, and service delivery
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Professional presentation, representing the company brand
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to travel regularly to branch locations across the network
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on high-quality outcomes
  • Competency using systems and software for reporting, documentation, and communication
