
Sales Excellence Manager Branch

While you don't have direct reports, you are a critical coach and performance enabler to frontline leaders and bankers across the country.
You will collaborate with Learning and Development, Sales Enablement, and Product and Risk teams to deliver relevant, timely, and scalable support to the branch network.
You'll also support national rollouts of initiatives, training, and performance improvement frameworks.
You are a connector, a coach, and a systems-thinker—bringing practical solutions, commercial acumen, and operational discipline to uplift sales effectiveness across the network.
You'll make an impact by: You will help shape and maintain a consistent performance rhythm across branches, driving focus on customer conversations, banker capability, and sustainable outcomes.
You'll bring discipline to execution, clarity to strategy, and energy to coaching conversations.
Branch Sales Rhythm & Execution Define and embed a consistent weekly and monthly rhythm across branches, including huddles, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
Partner with Regional Managers to drive discipline around scorecard measures, customer conversations, and banker productivity.
Monitor and evolve rhythm effectiveness to reflect strategic priorities and operational maturity.
Capability Development & Coaching Build and deploy capability programs that enhance customer conversations, needs discovery, product knowledge, and sales skills.
Partner with Learning and Development to ensure training content meets frontline needs and is embedded through practical coaching tools.
Design and lead targeted uplift initiatives across specific performance or capability themes.
Support onboarding of new Branch Managers and customer-facing staff, embedding consistency from day one.
Performance Insights & Continuous Improvement Deliver data-led insights that help Regional and Branch Managers coach more effectively and manage team performance.
Analyse performance trends and identify branches, individuals, or themes requiring targeted support.
Develop toolkits, playbooks, and job aids to support everyday execution and sales consistency.
Service Culture & Compliance Reinforce the cultural pillars of customer care, compliance, and sustainable sales through coaching and frontline messaging.
Ensure service quality and responsible banking practices are embedded in all uplift initiatives.
Partner with Risk and Compliance teams to support remediation, uplift, or change initiatives affecting the branch network.
Champion initiatives that bring together sales and service, ensuring customers receive the best of both.
Do things differently with us To succeed in this role, you will have: Experience in branch leadership, sales coaching, or retail banking performance enablement.
Deep understanding of retail banking operations, sales cycles, and customer engagement principles.
Demonstrated ability to lead capability uplift, coaching frameworks, or training design.
Proven ability to influence across leaders and teams without direct authority.
Commercially minded, with a strong focus on execution and continuous improvement.
Track record of business transformation and growth leadership, driving digital and operational innovation.
