Accounting Professional Required

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate accounting professional to join our corporate services team.

The successful candidate will provide a wide range of accounting support services, including financial management systems and asset accounting.

The role involves overseeing finance, rates and customer service functions, managing a team of up to four. You will also collaborate closely with the HR/Payroll Manager, who oversees the remaining corporate services team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial accounting and management accounting
  • Systems accounting and asset accounting
  • Providing administrative support to the team

We are ideally looking for someone with formal accounting qualifications or who is currently studying towards obtaining them. This role offers a great opportunity for career development in the local government industry.
