Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of accounting support services, including financial management systems and asset accounting.

This is a full-time position requiring work from Monday to Friday, within standard hours from 8.30am to 4.30pm, totaling 38 hours per week. The role will be based across both the Ravensthorpe and Hopetoun offices.

The ideal candidate will have formal accounting qualifications or be currently studying towards obtaining them. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accounting support services, including financial management systems and asset accounting.
  • Oversee finance, Rates and customer service functions, managing a team of up to four.
  • Collaborate closely with the HR/Payroll Manager, who oversees the remaining Corporate Services team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Formal accounting qualifications or currently studying towards obtaining them.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
