Role Overview

This role involves providing resident-focused and holistic care to meet the needs of residents in a variety of care settings.

As a Health Care Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate availability in our electronic rostering system, accepting shifts based on your availability, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

You will also be required to provide resident-focused service in relation to meals/food service and participate in annual performance review.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accurate availability in our electronic rostering system
  • Assisting residents to meet their needs as defined by them in a variety of care settings
  • Providing resident-focused and holistic care under the supervision of the Registered & Enrolled Nurse
  • Accurate documentation of resident care and meeting of health service guidelines
  • Ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff
  • Providing resident-focused service in relation to meals/food service
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support
  • Ability to function within a team
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
