Job Overview

The Child Protection Counselling Service offers a comprehensive response to individuals affected by child protection.

This role provides specialist therapeutic and case management services to children, young people, and their carers who have experienced physical abuse, emotional abuse, domestic violence, or neglect.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality therapeutic and case management services to clients in need.
  • Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders through strong advocacy, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Participate in the 24-hour On-Call Service and be willing to provide services at various locations within the NSLHD area.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and experience as per clinical discipline, along with full registration or eligibility for membership of AASW or AHPRA.
