About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Operational Readiness team at Carrapateena. As Superintendent - Operational Readiness, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the successful ramp-up of site production and improvement of operational performance.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing professional to work collaboratively with our teams and their leaders to drive business outcomes. You will be responsible for leading a team focused on delivering the necessary systems, processes, and organisational capabilities required to ensure value is delivered quickly from ongoing investments in the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Operational Readiness strategies to ensure successful ramp-up of site production and improvement of operational performance.

  • Collaborate closely with project and operational representatives to make a difference through successful integration and ramp-up of projects.
  • Build strong internal stakeholder relationships, including Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Technology teams.
  • Seek better ways by engaging and integrating with each key Operational Readiness delivery partner to clearly define all operational readiness scope elements.
  • Manage change effectively and efficiently to strategically enhance business performance.
  • Identify risks and make risk-informed decisions to maximise business outcomes.

About You:

  • Mining and/or processing experience with demonstrated budgeting and project management experience at an operational mine site.
  • Highly effective communicator with the ability to engage with and resolve issues across all levels of the project and operation.
  • A high degree of business acumen including the ability to make sound commercial decisions based on understanding of key processes, inputs, and drivers across a mine to mill value chain.
  • A good understanding of the systems, processes, and organisational capabilities required to handover, operate, and maintain a new asset.
  • Ability to apply risk management in both a project and operational context.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or relevant trade in combination with leadership experience.
