Opportunity to Contribute to Cancer Research

We invite applications for a PhD position in the area of translational brain cancer research. The successful candidate will work on developing novel antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) targeting Eph receptors.

The project involves designing, generating, and optimising ADCs using molecular and cell biology approaches. This includes evaluating candidate ADCs using patient-derived cell lines and organoid models, as well as conducting in vivo preclinical testing of ADCs in relevant brain cancer models.

The aim is to assess efficacy and safety of ADCs and communicate experimental data through publications and conference presentations. Collaboration with researchers and clinicians is essential to advance therapeutic strategies towards translation.

Applicants should have a completed Honours or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Science, Pharmacology, or related discipline. Strong laboratory skills in cell and molecular biology are required, including techniques such as cloning, flow cytometry, microscopy, Western blotting, etc.

A strong ability to analyse and interpret experimental data is also necessary. Additionally, excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and communication of results.

We offer a state-of-the-art facility and a stimulating work setting focused on cutting-edge medical research. A supportive and collaborative team environment is also provided.

About the Project
