Job Description
The Safety Advisor will report directly to the Operations Manager, overseeing all aspects of safety across the site. This role is fully autonomous, allowing the successful candidate to drive safety initiatives, manage compliance, and promote a culture of health and safety.
- Safety Inductions : The Safety Advisor will be responsible for managing and coordinating all inductions across the site.
- Compliance : Conduct site walks to ensure that all safety standards are met.
- Safety Admin : Manage all documentation related to safety processes and compliance.
- Return to Work : Assist with injury management and return-to-work plans.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Health & Safety Champion : Lead the way in promoting a positive safety culture.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the company offers a range of benefits, including relocation support and a supportive team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary degree in Safety or equivalent preferred but not essential.
- Excellent self-management skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
