Operational Technology Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team as an Operational Technology Security Specialist at Energy Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing Operational Technology security platforms and applying your specialist knowledge in cybersecurity systems to ensure the day-to-day and tactical functions of the team are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the security of operational technology within the network to identify and mitigate the risk of potential vulnerabilities and threats.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the ongoing safety of the network, working within various standards such as IEC 62443, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and AESCSF regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure solutions and work across teams to implement and develop processes and procedures.
- Conduct security risk assessments of new OT devices and perform security risk assessments of a new OT device.
- Configure F5 virtual servers for new OT systems and assign new hosts to proper domains.
- Investigate alerts raised by the SIEM platform and add policies to the network firewalls.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Professional with a strong understanding of the governance, risk, and compliance this team operates within. You will have a Bachelor Degree in IT/Cybersecurity or associated disciplines and experience within OT cybersecurity. You will also be a good communicator who can produce documentation and develop necessary procedures.
