SalaryAs an OT Security Specialist with Energy Queensland, your salary band starts at $140,751 for a 9-day fortnight and $159,049 for a 10-day fortnight, plus 12.75% superannuation.
Job DescriptionWe're seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team and help us shape the future of energy. As an OT Security Specialist, you will be responsible for managing Operational Technology security platforms, applying your specialist knowledge in cybersecurity systems to ensure the day-to-day and tactical functions of the team are maintained.
Your purpose is to identify and mitigate the risk of potential vulnerabilities and threats, working closely with our technical teams to implement and develop processes and procedures within a technical environment to ensure the ongoing safety of our network.
You will be hands-on, working on complex and technical information surrounding cybersecurity, and have experience within OT cybersecurity. You will also be a good communicator who can produce documentation and develop necessary procedures.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in IT/Cybersecurity or associated disciplines, and a strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance. Familiarity with IEC 62443, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and AESCSF regulations is also essential.
You will have experience with OT cybersecurity, including managing and maintaining the security of operational technology within the network, identifying and mitigating risks, and developing procedures to ensure the ongoing safety of our network.
