About the Role:



We're seeking a highly skilled Sales Representative to join our Sales Team at Southern Cross Austereo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Tailor presentations to client-specific needs and proactively approach sales opportunities to maximize revenue.
  • Prospect and Search for New Clients: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client portfolio.
  • Meet Sales Targets: Consistently achieve and exceed sales and market share targets within allocated client portfolios.
  • Forecast and Plan: Provide accurate and timely forecasts of achievement to budgets and goals.
  • Maintain and Grow Client Portfolio: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including Independent Agencies and Direct businesses.
  • Identify and Establish Clear Goals: Proactively identify and establish clear goals and plans for key and target accounts in line with customer-focused selling principles.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Knowledge: Continually develop knowledge and expertise of Southern Cross Austereo products and industries, including marketing expertise, business knowledge, and competitive environment.
  • Organize Priorities and Activities: Develop and maintain a system for organizing priorities and activities to ensure effective implementation of plans to achieve revenue goals.


Requirements:



  • 2-3 Years of B2B Selling Experience: Proven track record of consistent and successful sales results.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Cold Calling and Business Development: Comfortable and skilled in cold calling new business prospects and generating client lists from scratch.
  • Media Market Understanding: Strong understanding of the media market is desirable but not essential.
  • Passion for Sales: Genuine passion for the media industry and a love for all things sales.
