Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our team at Design & Build Recruitment. As a Senior Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing commercial fitout and refurbishment projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Contract Administration: Prepare and manage subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules.
  • Financial Management: Manage and track project expenditure, including subcontractor claims.
  • Team Management: Mentor and manage a team of Contracts Administrators.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and consultants.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree qualified in construction management or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in contracts administration, with a focus on commercial fitout and refurbishment projects.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with the Melbourne construction market and subcontractors.
