Job Title: Senior Contract Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager to join our team at Flexhive. As a Senior Contract Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a small team to deliver the procurement strategy and sourcing process for government office accommodation.

About the Role

The Senior Contract Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies and sourcing processes to support the delivery of client outcomes for office accommodation management.
  • Leading and managing a small team to deliver best value for money in procurement and sourcing activities.
  • Applying government procurement policies and legislative requirements to develop and implement complex category management strategies.
  • Identifying and managing commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical, and market risks.
  • Negotiating high-impact, complex commercial facilities and real estate service arrangements and contract issues.
  • Monitoring deadlines on project deliverables and ensuring project parameters are adequately managed within tolerances.
Key Selection Criteria

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience in complex commercial procurements, including tender document development, contract review, and risk management practices and methodologies.
  • Experience in planning and executing high-value and complex commercial negotiations, preferably in real estate and/or facilities management context.
  • Strong leadership skills and understanding of best practice procurement practices and broad experience in developing and implementing procurement procedures, templates, and tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and build collaborative and effective relationships.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Contract Management, Sourcing, or Procurement and/or significant experience in a similar senior contracts and sourcing role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Victorian Government procurement policies.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing complex commercial procurements.
