Job Title: Senior Contract Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager to join our team at Flexhive. As a Senior Contract Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a small team to deliver the procurement strategy and sourcing process for government office accommodation.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in contract management, with experience in planning and executing high-value and complex commercial negotiations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement procedures, templates, and tools that support the delivery of effective procurement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and develop the procurement strategy and sourcing process to support the delivery of client outcomes for office accommodation management.
  • Lead, manage, and coordinate the team to deliver best value for money in procurement and sourcing activities.
  • Effectively apply government procurement policies and legislative requirements to develop and implement complex category management strategies.
  • Identify and manage commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical, and market risks.
  • Lead negotiations on high-impact, complex commercial facilities and real estate service arrangements and contract issues.
  • Monitor deadlines on project deliverables and ensure project parameters are adequately managed within tolerances.
Key Selection Criteria
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience in complex commercial procurements, including tender document development, contract review, and risk management practices.
  • Strong leadership skills and understanding of best practice procurement practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • High-level analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to deliver innovative solutions to resolve complex problems.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Contract Management, Sourcing, or Procurement, or significant experience in a similar senior contracts and sourcing role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Victorian Government procurement policies.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing complex commercial procurements.
