Technical Service Specialist Role

Delivering high-quality service to customers is at the forefront of our operations. As a Technical Service Specialist, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, warranty work, field modifications, installations, commissioning, bench repair, and telephone technical support.

  • Ensure all repairs are attended to satisfactorily within the required timeframe.
  • Provide technical assistance via telephone or at customer sites.
  • Prepare quotations for equipment repair and evaluation for warranty repair.
  • Assess and report on product performance, faults, and make recommendations for improvement.
Key Requirements:
  • A tertiary degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering would be advantageous.
  • Hold a QLD REL (restricted electrical licence) or be eligible to obtain one.
  • Experience in an electro-mechanical and/or electrical field is essential.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry would be beneficial but not necessary.
  • Understanding of servicing to Australia Standard AS3551 is required.
  • A valid and unrestricted Driver's license with access to a vehicle is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are crucial.
