Technical Support Specialist role at a leading national distributor of industrial labelling and coding equipment.

The company has over 50 years' experience in the Australian packaging market, with multiple locations nationwide. It is widely recognised as experts in identification and traceability, and works with world-leading brands in thermal printing, barcoding, data capture, marking & coding.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to provide exceptional service to our customers through remote support and troubleshooting on the latest mobility and traceability hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to customers and efficiently resolve issues.
  • Diagnose and provide troubleshooting support related to products encompassing a wide range of home electronics, smart devices, and appliances.
  • Assist customers with product setup, configuration, and problem resolution.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical services team to resolve customer problems in alignment with Service Level Agreement requirements.
  • Stay up to date with product offerings and technical specifications to deliver accurate and practical support.
  • Escalate advanced technical issues to specialised teams when necessary.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer support role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail.
  • A customer-focused approach when assisting individuals with technical difficulties.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and helpdesk software is advantageous.
