Job Description

As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet. You will be responsible for delivering quality maintenance services, rectifying defects, and adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven leadership capabilities and demonstrated ability to effectively supervise, coach, and motivate teams.
  • Heavy/Line Maintenance experience on company and customer aircraft B1 or B2 Licence.
  • A current LAME qualification with experience in Line Maintenance.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively implement and manage change.
  • Sound commercial awareness, in particular how it may affect the daily operations.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, particularly when under pressure.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within Qantas and other Customers, particularly in the operational areas.
