Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Role at Qantas Group

We're seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Qantas Group.



Key Responsibilities


  • Carry out maintenance and repair of aircraft components in the Unit Load Devices (ULD) and Galley Cart workshop.
  • Deliver safe, cost-effective, quality maintenance products and services to the airline.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence.

    • Requirements
    • A Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical, Avionics, or Structures) - desirable
    • An Australian recognized trade qualification - mechanical preferred
    • Sound knowledge and understanding of maintenance procedures
    • Commitment to being a highly customer-focused team worker with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required
    • Previously or currently a Non-Licenced Certifying Staff (advantageous)
    • A current airside drivers' licence (advantageous)
    • A current forklift licence (advantageous)
    • Sound communications skills, both written and verbal
    • Highly developed attention to detail
