The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join our team at QantasLink Line Maintenance. As a LAME, you will be responsible for delivering quality and reliable maintenance and rectification services to a high standard, while ensuring all OHS and safety compliance is adhered to.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Qantaslink's Dash 8's, B717's, and A220 fleet;
- Ensure all maintenance is carried out in accordance with the system of certification and to the highest standards of safety and quality;
- Work effectively with the team to meet deadlines and ensure on-time performance;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Heavy/Line Maintenance experience on company and customer aircraft B1 or B2 Licence;
- An Australian Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence rated on Company aircraft in the Mechanical and/or Avionics category;
- Excellent time management skills and ability to implement and manage change effectively;
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how it may affect daily operations;
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement principles;
- Proven problem-solving skills, particularly under pressure;
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff within Qantas and other customers;
