About Rydges Resort Hunter Valley

Located in the heart of Australia's wine country, Rydges Resort Hunter Valley offers an exceptional workplace experience. Our resort boasts a range of exciting facilities, including a ferris wheel, brewery, waterpark, and 18-hole golf course.

As a key member of our Stewarding team, your responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchens, as well as ensuring a steady supply of equipment and clean utensils for our food and beverage outlets.

You will report to the Chief Steward and be responsible for:

  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, including collecting rubbish and cleaning bins and the rubbish room.
  • Undertaking additional cleaning tasks and schedules as required.

This role requires you to carry, lift, and push items such as plates, trolleys, and garbage bins, as well as handle food products, utensils, chemicals, and cleaning detergents.

In this role, you will also assist with receiving and storing food, as well as assisting chefs with food preparation and general kitchen duties.

We offer an attractive salary package of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

You will be entitled to benefits such as:
