Job Summary

You will play a key role in ensuring compliance and enforcing relevant legislation within the transport industry.

This exciting opportunity involves working as part of a team to deliver projects that have a significant impact on the community.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to implement compliance activity plans and enforce relevant legislation.
  • Authorise the issue of penalty infringement notices and compliance notices after completing a period of training.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders including the public, drivers and service providers.
  • Produce high-quality evidence-based reports to identify non-compliance and make recommendations.

About You

We are looking for someone who possesses strong stakeholder management skills, effective communication skills and the ability to think critically.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a regulatory or compliance environment, ideally in a government organisation or the transport industry.

They will also be an excellent communicator with the ability to engage with stakeholders and think on their feet.
