Job Title:

Compliance Specialist

Based in Dubbo, you will work as part of a team to deliver compliance activities and enforce relevant legislation within the point-to-point transport industry.

This role involves working with industry stakeholders to ensure compliance and implement plans to prevent non-compliance.

As a Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to the Point to Point Transport (Taxis and Hire Vehicles) Act 2016.

You will work closely with other enforcement agencies to identify and address non-compliance issues.

After a period of training, you will be authorized to issue penalty infringement notices and compliance notices.

About the Role:
  • Deliver compliance activities to enforce relevant legislation within the point-to-point transport industry.
  • Work with industry stakeholders to ensure compliance and implement plans to prevent non-compliance.
  • Identify and address non-compliance issues in collaboration with other enforcement agencies.
Requirements:
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of legislation related to the transport industry.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working in a regulatory or compliance environment is highly valued.
