Job Overview

As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the transport industry operates within regulatory frameworks.

Based in Dubbo, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver compliance activities and enforce relevant legislation within the point-to-point transport sector.

  • You will be responsible for conducting inspections and gathering evidence to identify non-compliance and inform recommendations for improvement.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role, as you will engage with various stakeholders, including the public, drivers, and service providers.
  • With your expertise in regulatory environments and compliance sectors, you will excel in producing high-quality, evidence-based reports that drive positive change.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and gather evidence to support compliance activity plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other enforcement agencies to share best practices and enhance compliance outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolve conflicts when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven experience working in regulatory or compliance environments, ideally within government organizations or the transport industry.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
